Q & A's

At Triathlon Training Team, we believe the athlete has to be 100% satisfied not only with the coach, but also the program.  If the during the first 30 days you find that this is just not for you, you will be allowed to cancel and we will refund you your first month’s coaching fee.  We also do not have a set-up fee, so there is no risk for you to try us out.  If you need to cancel at any point after the first 30 days of coaching, you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to one month of coaching.

Regardless of your current level, you really do not need to invest more than just getting a bike and a helmet to start training.  There are many added benefits to be able to monitor such things as your heart rate, cadence, and wattage produced, which in return, will help your coach better monitor your progress.  Having more data seen by your coach will provide the highest quality possible for feedback and guidance.

Once you sign up for the coaching plan and term that you want, the coach selected for you will contact you to go over your overall goals, availability to workout, scheduled races, current fitness level, and many other things.  Once this is done, your workouts will be up loaded to TrainingPeaks, where you will be able to see them both on your desktop, and your mobile device.  As you do your workouts with a device such as a Garmin watch, the data from that workout gets uploaded to TrainingPeaks and analyzed by your coach, weekly or daily, depending on the selected plan.  The uploaded data also produces a great amount of information that we use to better manage your progression.  You will always be able to initiate communications with your coach to go over your progress, and any other triathlon related questions you might have.

We are here to help you get the most out of your coaching experience.  If you need to take a break from working out due to a medical condition, we can stop your coaching and your billing for up to 4-months without any penalties.  If the condition is such that you might have to cancel all together, we will review it on a case by case basis and come up with a solution that works best for you.
